Pay Future Invoice

  • how do you mean outstanding invoice? did you just pay and the payment has not arrived yet? When I signed up I paid to verify and it was a weekend so the payment was on the way (bank transfer) - from that moment on it told me I cant pay future invoices and I thought it was to protect me from paying twice ...

  • I don't know - could it be that transferring the unpaid new vps does not transfer the contract/order to pay for it so the system refuses until someone pays the first bill ? just guessing though

  • if you know the price and the deal has an ID / order number you could probably pay to netcups bank account with reference number - banking system should pick it up in 24 hours and done. But! ... I don't know - not advice. I paid like that but it was inside the form that offered me to pay with bank transfer, would have used credit card but missed the exit and had to wait 3 days - weekend.

not really helpful I know - just moral support :)

and you have this in your account?

  • I suppose, the problem is caused by the (relatively) new feature of monthly invoices. Wthout monthly invoice, you would already have an open invoice whch you could pay immediately and unblock the transfer. But now, there is no invoice yet, just one or more open positions, which will appear in the next monthly invoice. And you don't have a possibility to pay these open positions now, at least no obvious one.

This is definitely not good. Either the open positions, which don't appear on an invoice yet, should not block a transfer, or there should be a possibility to pay these open positions and unblock the transfer. As it is, open positions for a product have always to be paid by the old customer. Therefor, the first alternative will likely not be acceptable for netcup.

So a nice button to generate an invoice for (all) the open positions might be a possible solution. This invoice, once generated, would then have to be paid within the usual 14 days and its generation would then empty the preview for the next monthly invoice. Once this invoice is paid, the transfer would be unblocked until the next open position shows up in the preview. So this invoice still might need to be paid really fast in order to unblock the transfer, but this would at least be possible using Paypal, Credit Card or whatever is working instantly. Better than waiting some more weeks with the transfer. Just a few thoughts, though ...

  • Yeah, but these are really complicating and that too unnecessarily for the clients. I get the benefit that NC may have, but then clients are at a loss.

Although, it may save the probability of people fooling around with products and the manual overhead and paperwork that entails for NC.

  • i have opened like total 10+ tickets.

i have observed that they respond faster on latest tickets than older tickets

Now the problem is changed actually

i requested them to allow me to pay the invoice

    which they did allow

i paid thru paypal but still it says unpaid and no support from team yet. its been 4+ hrs

also for some reason the server transfer issue is not yet resolved , different staff say different issues on different tickets

  • I am now stopping all my emails and will allow 3-4 business days for them to check each one of my email and reply.

    Let's see what happens.

    Even though I trust netcup,

For my own safety I have informed visa card network about the double payment I did by mistake and requested a chargeback.

  • Tell the clients to do the serenity prayer along with you.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. :)

That being said. Of course they respond to the latest ticket from a single source since it is the current one and should have the latest information. It is up to you if the latest one is number 3 or number 10 - how is sending multiple tickets on one topic going to speed up the procedure? Unless you know that the first dozen tickets get dropped by default to make sure the customer is serious ... Long response time for something is really annoying - especially when you have no time and told the clients it will be sorted in 30 minutes. I hope it gets fixed nicely and that everyone is going to be happy.
