I have a simple query. If I create a backup via customer panel, download the backup (it is available to download, right?), then delete the backup. Will I be allowed to create a new backup again without having to pay/purchase new backup? Is there a gap between 2 backups (free)?

You can only create a snapshot via ccp. This is not a Backup.
If you export the Snapshot, you have to pay a fee.
The payment is required for every Export, except the first one, which is included in your contract.

No

confused.
Let us say I exported the 1st one.
Is there a way to delete that one?
If not deleted, I created a second snapshot. Is this possible?
Also, why would I export? How else can I use that snapshot? I could not find any proper guidelines.
Finally, by snapshot I believe it is the qcow / iso files for Debian/Linux. Windows excluded.

Snapshots are images of the virtual hard disk at that point in time. The OS doesn't really matter. You could use an exported snapshot to restore your server to an earlier state by uploading it later, instantiate a virtual machine on your own development servers with it, analyze it with forensic tools beyond what's available in the rescue system, work on the downloaded disk image while the server is running, etc.
You can create as many snapshots as are included in your virtual server plan. If you delete one, it's available to be created again. Only exports of snapshots are limited to a small number and gone if used. If you want to export more, you can purchase more exports.
Online snapshots (taken while the VM is running) can't be exported and exporting offline snapshots is not free (just once as an appetizer, I guess). You can boot into the rescue system and use it to export an image of your VM hard disk for free, if you're so inclined. The disadvantage of doing it that way is that it keeps the server offline for as long as that takes, while using the snapshot function is quick and you can download the snapshot while the server is up running again.

I know the concept of snapshots and what you mentioned above. My confusion was based on the logic of exports and availability beyond 1, which is not explained comprehensively. But I do get the pointer on 1 lead now.
Danke.

You can have as many Snapshots as your available Disksize allows. All Snapshots counts for your Disk usage.
Is there a way to delete that one?
Any Export will be automatically deleted after 48 hours.
To make it clear.
You have to pay for every single Snapshot-Export (not the Snapshot).
But you get the very first (and only that) for free.

Sorry to jump into the conversation but i have a related question to this exact thing.
If I exported a snapshot and wanted to import it into a different server, is it as simple as uploading a custom image in the images tab in the SCP?

it is easier, because you don't have to upload anything.
the exported snapshot appears automatically in the image-section of the other serves (forgot, where exactly)
