There is a lot of negative feedback regarding this. Often the addresses of Netcup servers are listed on SPAM block lists, and the mails go to SPAM anyway. People are sending too much spam, and if you are also going to send campaigns, it will become even worse.
dedicated IP is required for those sorts of things, as to avoid emails landing in spam box.
When you order a VPS, you get a static/dedicated IPv4 address and a /64 IPv6 subnet. However, as NaN already mentioned, your IP might have low reputation or it could be blacklisted on some services if a previous user engaged in shady (EG: Spam) activities.
But: I guess I’m lucky—mine are all clean! 😄

lukor : Especially in the context mentioned above, you might want to consider specialised marketing, automation and email platforms (like the one with the chimpanzee in their logo) to avoid problems with a bad email reputation as well as with configuring and maintaining a dedicated VPS instance or two (for redundancy).
