Subscribe to the server, suspend the account and keep asking for payment

  • Said I was abusing, suspended the server, canceled the server, and pressed me to pay. I am not in arrears, and you have been urging me to pay. I ordered the server before and I paid for it, and you suspended me, and you refunded me?
  • Those who asked me to provide this information or that information, I said I would not provide it, and I asked to cancel all servers. Also keeps sending me messages asking me to pay for unused server subscriptions.

  • First off: we cant help you with your specific problem. This is a customer board.

Second: You said you didnt use your server, but maybe it got hijacked because you did not lock it down.

    Contact the support

  • Question 1: (Account registration) This is not directly related to the account being locked. When I registered my account previously, I provided my personal information, but they insisted that I provide a business license for verification. After I provided it, they directly changed my account to a company account. I didn't pay attention and used it for half a year.

Question 2: Then during the last promotion, I ordered several new servers, but they accused me of server abuse and directly suspended my entire account, including the server that I had been using for almost half a year, which was also suspended despite not being involved in the new orders.

Question 3: The customer service asked me to continue providing information for verification, but I refused. They kept asking for different information and I eventually said I wanted to cancel all my servers. However, they still wanted me to pay for the unused servers.

Anyway, I can only say that netcup's current behavior is really unsightly. They ask customers for information all day long.

  • Once again, nobody on here will be able to help you with you problem as this forum is from customers for customers.

For further clarification please contact netcup customer support. As long as you don't try to fool with them and you listen, they will probably be very helpful. I know that from experience.

  • For some of the questions I have a feeling it might be a language barrier thing. You can only cooperate with support and if you aren't sure about things you can just ask them.

If your server is flagged for abuse you have to provide information that you took measures to prevent it in the future. We don't know what you did but if it was for something against the TOS, you are just out of luck and will have to find another provider.

The law requires them to make sure everything is fine. I can imagine that if you are a international customer things can get a little more complicated and you will have to provide more proof.

Even if you cancel the contracts, you will still have to pay the invoice and if you are lucky they will refund some of the money. Considering the invoice in your pic is a month old already, and the laws in your country regarding consumer protection will be different, it will probably be too late to step back from the contracts.

As mentioned by the others, we won't be able to help you here.

  • I ordered three new servers and all the machines in my account were suspended on the second day. I was asked to provide this information, that information, and I said I would cancel all the servers. Why should I pay for the new servers I ordered? Even the server I ordered for last year's Christmas event was suspended.

  • 我订购的新服务器仅在使用几个小时后就关闭了。说我虐待,我没有虐待。

    你说你没有滥用服务器,那么也许你在订购过程中提供的个人数据有误,或者你没有及时支付发票。
(You said you were not abusing the servers, then maybe there was an error in your personal data you provided during the ordering process or you failed to pay the invoice in time.)

  • Excuse me, what can a small 40g memory vps abuse? If you don’t use more than 5-10TB of traffic in a month, it’s called abuse?

    §4

    Zitat

    4. Payment terms

    1. Unless a different payment schedule has been agreed, all fixed-fee payments are to be made in advance for the billing period as stated in the service specification. Payments related to service/product usage are invoiced at the end of the billing period.
    2. netcup supports direct debit payment - an easy way for customers to settle their outstanding bills. Customers wishing to use this option may set up a direct debit mandate when placing their order or at any time during the contractual term. This direct debit mandate also applies if customers update their bank account details and can be revoked at any time. In the event of unjustified chargebacks caused by the customer, netcup may reclaim from the customer the fees actually charged for this by the third-party bank. The onus of proof is on customer to show that netcup has in fact suffered no loss or a substantially smaller loss.
    3. Invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt.
    4. Should a customer fall into arrears, netcup may limit or cease to provide services after giving prior notification; this also applies to domains that have been registered for the customer. The customer incurs an administration fee of 25 € for service stoppages unless s/he is able to prove, for each separate case, that netcup in fact suffered no loss or a substantially smaller loss.
    5. If the customer remains in arrears for the payment of a substantial part of the service fee for two consecutive months or for an amount equal to the monthly fee over a period lasting longer than two months, then netcup may choose to terminate the contractual agreement without notice for good cause.
