Request to Switch RS1000 G9.5 from DE to US East or Genoa CPU in DE

    Hi netcup Community,

    I've recently purchased an RS1000 G9.5 server located in Germany, but it hasn't been powered on yet. After reviewing available options, I noticed that the RS1000 G9.5 servers hosted in US East utilize the more advanced AMD EPYC 9634 (Genoa, 2023) processor.

    Could I request to have my server switched to US East to benefit from this newer hardware? Alternatively, if this isn't possible, could my server in Nuremberg, Germany, be provisioned with an EPYC 9634 (Genoa) CPU?

    I've already submitted a support ticket regarding this request but wanted to reach out here as well to see if anyone has experience or advice on such requests.

    My server is still unconfigured, and while the RS1000 G9.5 clearly states AMD EPYC™ 7702 in its configuration details, I've noticed many others have received servers equipped with the AMD EPYC 9634 (Genoa, 2023). Considering that I've paid the same amount as others, I kindly request to receive the same configuration. :/

    I still don't think so.
    I recommend you create a post here in the forum under the "Wanted" category and express your interest in the RS. Then you might be able to get one and cancel it in Germany.

    Unfortunately, there are no more available.

    I checked my server in the USA. Only the 11th generation has this CPU. See the following output:

    Participants in today’s special promotion who purchased the RS 1000 G9.5 iv PRO MNZ JUN25 in Manassas, USA, almost all received an AMD EPYC 9634 84-Core Processor.
