URGENT: Netcup DNSSEC keeps showing as Active after disabling it 3 times, blocking move to Cloudflare

  • I'm trying to move my website from netcup nameservers to Cloudflare.

I've disabled DNSSEC through the netcup CCP three times now, but it keeps showing as Active again. Because of this, netcup won't let me change the nameservers.

    Zitat

''As long as DNSSEC is enabled, the name servers cannot be changed.
Please disable DNSSEC first; otherwise, the domain may not resolve correctly after the change.''

What's strange is that Internet.nl reports that the domain is not signed with DNSSEC, while the netcup CCP still says DNSSEC is Active. Also with the help of AI and some CMD work I am 100% sure it is NOT SIGNED with DNSSEC

    Cloudflare DNSSEC is also disabled.

Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a separate DNSSEC key or DS record somewhere in the netcup CCP that needs to be manually removed?

Tried calling them, but they disabled their support due to many calls? Only god knows how long a response via my ticket will come and urgent support I got the message that i will be billed €60 per 15 minutes or so? F that.

I've opened a support ticket as well, but would appreciate any suggestions.

PLEASE HELP. I am having this issue more than 2 weeks now due to waiting 2-3 days everytime disabling DNSSEC.

  • This has been a known issue for quite a while, unfortunately. Others have observed the same behavior, myself included. DNSSEC has been disabled for you domain, the CCP is just not showing it and won't let you change nameservers as a result. Netcup support manually changed the nameservers for my domain after I sent them the domains of the server that I needed in a support ticket. I'm sure they can do the same for you, if you contact them.

Do you think I can contact their emergency line without paying the €60 as this is their fault? Or will they say F you, you have to pay €60? This has been going on so long and the ticket has been sent a few days ago about this specific issue and no answer yet. My last ticket about an invoice was answered almost 2 weeks later! I can't imagine when they will answer this ticket and the reply to my answer when I answer their reply... etc.etc
