resseler dns records

  • Very few people here in the forum have or have ever had a reseller product, which is why we can unfortunately provide little expertise in this regard. Assuming that the DNS records are where they always are:

Log into CCP and click on ‘Domains’ in the menu, then click on the magnifying glass of the desired domain, and then select the ‘DNS’ tab.

  • The reseller packages don't have - like other webhosting products on netcup - DNS settings which you can edit in plesk or in the ccp, as external domains.

Also the mails are not running on a mail server - like other products - they run on the server itself.

I create a new hosting in plesk, register my domains outside of netcup und point them via A-Record to the IP-adress of the webserver.

mx-entry goes to mail.domainname.com and for the spf-entry for this server I asked the support (it was a lot of asking with the support)

Or you use the domain reseller tool at netcup - with this I have no experience. Maybe it is easier to handle.
