[Webhosting 2000] Page cache is detected but the server response time is still slow

  • Hallo,

    "time is still slow

    Performance

Page cache enhances the speed and performance of your site by saving and serving static pages instead of calling for a page every time a user visits.

Page cache is detected by looking for an active page cache plugin as well as making three requests to the homepage and looking for one or more of the following HTTP client caching response headers:

    cache-control, expires, age, last-modified, etag, x-cache-enabled, x-cache-disabled, x-srcache-store-status, x-srcache-fetch-status.

Median server response time was 812 milliseconds. It should be less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold.

No client caching response headers were detected.

A page cache plugin was detected."

"Emmanuel from WP Rocket here. Thank you for reaching out to support.

The Site Health issues are unrelated to WP Rocket. It's usually related to the web server itself rather than a plugin. This warning can appear if the server response time is above 600 milliseconds. In your case, the median server response time was 936 milliseconds, which is very high.

When you enable WP Rocket, it automatically starts improving response time by serving cached files and applying GZIP compression. If you are still receiving this recommendation, it means there are additional factors, outside WP Rocket’s control, that are impacting the server response time.

For further details, please refer to our article on Site Health Check."
