Anyway to debug why Linux kernel is not booting or where is it stuck ?

    I'm using GNU Guix (running linux-libre 6.7.10) on my aarch64 netcup VM. When I rebuild configuration, and switch to newer kernels (e.g. 6.7.12, or 6.8.4), after selecting the entry in GRUB menu, display becomes black (i.e. Guest disabled display), which doesn't happen if I boot the pristine configuration with linux-libre 6.7.10.

    So my question is how do I go about debugging this problem to see where is it getting stuck. The kernel command-line parameters are same in 6.7.10 entry (which works), and 6.7.12, 6.8.4 (which do not work).
