Error when installed Ubuntu

    I want to install Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS on my server.

    I went to the "media" section of the control panel and went to Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS, clicked thru to the page where you enter layout/hostname etc.


    After I entered in the details, I get the error:

    "Wrong SCP login Password"

    I've both tried creating new credentials on the installation page and have also used my Server Control Panel user/password. Neither worked. Any help is appreciated.

    1. In 2023 you should definitely install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (it being 2 years younger and therefore with more time left until end of support).

    2. You need to enter your Servercontrol Panel password here to authorize the new installation, not set up a new password. You will get your password via web interface and mail after installation.
