    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick heads-up about some predatory flipping that’s been going on lately. It’s the kind of thing that really ruins the spirit of the transfer market here.

I recently came across a user who picked up a machine for a symbolic €7 residual value. In a post they later shared on a Chinese-speaking board (Image 1), they actually bragged about the low price and admitted they had promised the seller not to resell the service.

Well, that promise didn't last long. They immediately flipped it on a third-party marketplace for 1,200 CNY, which is roughly €155 (see Image 2).

We're looking at a 2,100% markup on a deal that was supposed to be a favor between community members.

I’m not trying to cause drama, but this kind of blatant scalping makes it harder for genuine users to get decent deals. If you’re planning on passing a service along at a discount, you might want to double-check who you’re dealing with to make sure they aren’t just looking to make a quick buck off your kindness.

Stay sharp, and let’s keep the community fair.

    Cheers.
