    Well:

Actually, I didn’t catch that. It was my oversight.

If I were a long-time user, I’d definitely be concerned about price hikes too. Thanks again.

I’m going to leave this post as well. I'm sorry for any discomfort or unhappiness my comments may have caused.

It was mentioned that neither the January nor the February batches have been delivered yet, and it's not a recent issue that delivery is no longer possible.

I think it's not appropriate to start promoting the event before the performers have given a clear confirmation of their participation.

    Your decision.

I am a Customer for some years, and it will be your loss if you play the sensitive soul...

My mistake. I just hope for a more friendly exchange, not because I or others are new, but because I want to be understood.

I am indeed a new user. I only found out about netcup towards the end of the January event and missed it. However, some community members mentioned that netcup usually holds activities almost every month, so I decided to wait for February. But the February event was announced and then canceled. I’m just questioning why the promotion was done under insufficient conditions, and why the cancellation wasn’t given the same level of visibility as the promotion.

If the community doesn’t welcome new users and doesn’t allow for questions, I think I should delete my account and distance myself from netcup.

I believe the event should have been organized and promoted based on the conditions we already have, not under conditions that aren’t met. And hope the situation will change within the next few days.

The event was promoted through all official channels, such as X, WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. However, the cancellation of the event did not use these same channels. (For example, X used replies under the event post, which weren’t very noticeable.)

The event shouldn’t have been promoted before the conditions were fully confirmed. Just like this event was promoted even though the hardware conditions weren’t met. The cancellation, on the other hand, was due to a long-standing issue, not a last-minute one.

This has nothing to do with whether existing users are charged a higher price while using a discounted rate to attract new users. The problem lies in the promotion itself. That’s why I’ve always expressed hope that there was no such promotion for this event.

I just hope that future promotions can be carried out more carefully.

I don't think there's anything wrong with canceling the event. (I believe the event shouldn't have been planned and promoted in the first place.) However, canceling it just 14 hours before the event feels a bit problematic. Also, the cancellation wasn't promoted with the same level of effort as the original event promotion. And the event was only promoted five days ago. Wasn’t the hardware price increase already happening before the promotion? Weren’t hardware delivery delays already a problem? (As mentioned earlier, hardware deliveries in January and February had already been delayed.) Or were they expecting things to change within those five days? (For example, that the hardware would be delivered in that time frame, or even that the hardware prices would drop?) So, I just think that preparations should have been made before the promotion, rather than canceling it at the last minute due to problems that had been going on for a long time.
