Well those databases are not always accurate and sometimes are outdated.
I've had so many VPSs over the years and have never experienced this. Speedtest.net even thinks the box is in Austria. Is there a way to push an update to these databases?

Howdydoodie set your rDNS again and Press SAVE Button as already mentioned earlier.
Hi, I have done this and posted about it 19 hours ago. https://forum.netcup.de/netcup-applica…ing/#post238142

still nothing but it hasn't been 48hrs however, what's also weird is that IP geolates to Austria even though my VPS is in Virginia USA. This complicates things if I use services which run geolocation. are any of those who had rDNS issues having the same geolocation problem? you can test your VPS IP here https://dnschecker.org/ip-location.php or by using any other IP geolocation lookup service

I saved it this morning and it’s still not working for me but I’ll continue to give it the 12hours it says it may need. Will report back tomorrow morning
Edit: I guess it says it could take up to 48hours 🫣😢. Either way I’ll report back

DNS update can take up to 48 Hours, be patient
It’s been 6-7 days for me. Rdns still hasn't updated for ipv4
-
You could also set it via the CCP.
I updated it in both on day one but it never went live.

Rdns will not update for me on my only ipv4 but works fine on ipv6. I’m a new customer and submitted a ticket a few days ago with no response
