Thats weird and not the normal behaviour. My last snapshot-upload (qcow2) was done in about 15 minutes. (Upload from a RS with 2.5 GBis/s bandwith)
Am using interservers as a backup machine (as a external network (—aside storage for emergency protection). it might be taking a lot of time .. i think so this slow speed won't be running for so long with me. it is much much slower then expected.

Perhaps you can unpack .zst and convert to qcow in one step, but I don't know how, cause I never tried.
It works great! I also recovered with qcow2. However, it took almost 13 hours to complete. Isn’t Rclone, Rsync, or SCP possible so that I can transfer Speedy to the S3 signed URL?

qemu-img convert -p -f raw -O qcow2 image.raw image.qcow2
Thanks a bunch! Just in case it doesn’t work with the .raw.zst format?

As far as i know, you can technically upload .zst compressed images, but you can't reinstall them to your server.
You need raw or qcow2 Images
Thats odd, because the download is a zst-Image, but you can not restore the same image.
(unless they have changed this in the meantime)
right but i can unzstd and then move to upload raw. transferring around 128gb unzstd file for each server takes a lot of time.

What format has the image?
snapshot5.raw.zst

Hi everyone,
I’m currently re-uploading a snapshot using the example pre-signed URL provided by Netcup. However, the transfer from within my VPS/server is quite slow, and it looks like it will take hours to complete.
I’ve been using curl -T <file> <URL> for the upload. If anyone has experience with faster methods or alternatives for transferring large snapshot files within Netcup’s infrastructure, I’d really appreciate some guidance.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, but most of the filesize should be zeroes. You can try a upload with the sparsed parameter, or use the qemu-img toolset (available for Linux, Windows etc.) to convert it into a qcow2 image, which would be much smaller.
Ah! good details. do you recommend a link that has described that into steps? so we can have a recovery drill. i have the snapshot in my backup vps but i have never used it.

Currently, this should only be available for the new G12 root server.
Perfect! it also shows 3-months free.

I am interested in paying for 12 months of a new VPS plan.
How can I select at least 12 months to pay at once for 12 months? -
There is no sensitive information in there?!
let it go. it just the address

Srly?
Just Google: netplan ipv6 - I can't link an article, because most English ones are connected to a hosting provider; and we aren't allowed to link other hosting providers here. However black is not a color.
You already picked an address: 2a0a:4cc0:80:32fe:c846:4cff:feb0:d950/64
Gateway / default route is fe80::1
Thanks! for the hint i got a lot of accurate info now! may i know if we can close or remove the sensitive info. i can mark your answer as best also .

In that case you probably need to touch the netplan configuration.
that so much little info for me. can you recommend me the article or so that i get to the point and able to retrieve the ipv6 publically accessible address. ?

Thanks. Your ChatGPT solution survives until you reboot your machine. In order to persist it we need to know which Linux Distribution you are using.
And no, "Enhance Control Panel" is not a Linux Distribution.
Am using Ubuntu 22
