Hello everyone,

I have been using a root server with Netcup for almost a year, and I am currently running Windows Server 2022. I want to upgrade to the newest version, Windows Server 2025, to get the latest features and improvements.

Before I upgrade, I have a few questions. Are there any issues I should know about, such as compatibility problems or missing drivers? I noticed that installation and network drivers for this version are not available on the driver disk.

Has anyone successfully installed Windows Server 2025 on a Netcup server? If yes, could you share your experience with the installation process, any driver issues, and how you handled them?

You need to go into the DNS settings tab of your domain. There you can add a record like:

game A 1.1.1.1

Domains -> click on the order button at the top right

I honestly didn't understand!

I bought the domain on the Netcup website, now I would like to configure the IP from the Rootserver and make it personalized, like this: 1.1.1.1 on sv.myserver.com and have it automatically configured directly to the server's IP... this is what I need for some game servers!

Another curiosity, do I pay a total price per year or do I pay per month each year up to 12 months to be that price?

Okay, this is how to make my ip changed with that domain. But I want to buy a domain, how do I do it?

If you are still online, can you help me with other information?

I would like to change my IP to some game servers, in this example game.server.com instead of the respective IP of the root server? How can I do this in netcup?

Thank you solve!

okay, but is it sure that he will call me today or another day?

Hello everyone of Netcup!

I wanted to inform you that I requested a Root server through the Netcup website two days ago, which was on Saturday. Considering that support and technicians don't work on Saturdays or Sundays, it's likely that confirmation regarding the server's availability will arrive within the next working hours?

Thank you,

MIHAIL
