Also ich hab mir am Black Friday 2x RS1000 G12 geholt und einen RS4000 G12 geholt und wollte eigentlich meine alten G11 Server damit ablösen.

Am Anfang hatten diese auch noch super Werte (RS1000 G12: Single Core bei über 2200 und Multicore bei über 7000) und ja, da waren die Server wahrscheinlich noch leer, aber mittlerweile sind teilweise mein G11 Server schneller, bzw. haben diese aktuell kaum noch Schwankungen und sind konstant in der Leistung.

Eigentlich sollte man schon davon ausgehen, dass die G12 schneller als die alte Generation ist...

Auf den G12 läuft nichts, die stehen nur so da und ein Neustart - siehe RS4000 - bringt auch keine besserung.

Für diesen Server hab ich ein Ticket wie von Lars geschrieben aufgemacht, mittlerweile noch schlechter:

Das ist ja ein RS 16000 G12? Wenn ja, dann lohnt sich ein Wechsel von G11 ja überhaupt nicht, bei der Performance

Ich betreibe zwei RS1000 G11, die derzeit deutliche Performanceeinbrüche bei CPU- und Disk-Leistung aufweisen.

Kurzzeitig erreichen die Systeme bei einer Blockgröße von 4 kB Transferraten von rund 400 MB/s, jedoch treten diese Spitzenwerte nur selten auf und halten jeweils nur kurz an. Danach geht es dann meistens auf < 350MB/s runter.

Auch ein Single-Core-Score von über 1.550 Punkten stellt bei beiden Servern eher die Ausnahme als den Regelfall dar.

Ich sehe das ähnlich wie tab . Eigentlich sollte man bei einem RS eine weitgehend konsistente Performance erwarten, insbesondere wenn von dedizierten Kernen die Rede ist.

Leider ist das hier nicht der Fall – zudem ist die Leistung im Vergleich zur ursprünglichen Bereitstellung spürbar gesunken, was insgesamt enttäuschend ist.

Bud das BOS-Digitalfunknetz nutz eine eigene Infrastruktur, mit teilweise eigenen Masten bzw. sind die an Handymasten mit dran.

Gibt aber immer wieder irgendwo auch schwarze Flecken wo es halt keinen Empfang gibt.

Da ist die Performance echt der Hammer und ich wunder mich, warum alles langsam ist...

Da sucht man die NVME echt verzweifelt.

Wahrscheinlich haben die nicht mit dem Ansturm gerechnet, aber dass dann die Performance bei Bestandskunden so massiv schlechter wird, ist nicht schön...

Mein alter Server aus der G9 Variante zieht auch mehr als die drei G11 Server. Bei denen konnte man die letzten Tage zusehen wie die Performance insgesamt sehr abgenommen hat, angefangen mal bei 1650 Geekbench Single und ~250MB/s bei 4k fio...

Echt schade und der Support lässt auch sehr auf sich warten und meine Zufriedenheitsgarantie läuft leider auch aus...

Bin mir unsicher was ich machen soll...
