wish to install ubuntu 22 on a root server

Hi,

I have installed a linux distribution on a root server at netcup few years ago. I wish now to install a new ubuntu 22.04 in replace. Also new ubuntu need to have it as a KVM file to allow me to move from a root server to another when it comes. Could you please some details about this task? Some links or/and tutorials for this particular interface of netcup?

I already entered in https://www.servercontrolpanel.de/SCP/Home.

Also at his URL https://www.netcup.eu/vserver/vserver-images.php there it appears ubuntu 22.04 but in servercontrolpanel I found only DVD Images as live server.

Sorry, I didn't get this. Do you want to have a snapshot?

Ubuntu 22 is available as Image and as ISO installation. So no problem to make a clean install.

Thank you frank_m! I changed my old root server for a new root server with more RAM memory. For this I found that is useful to have a KVM file for move to new server without reinstall.
