Allgemeine Probleme (MySql und Weiterleitung IP)

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe seit 16 Jahren nicht mehr mit Linus gearbeitet und versuche mich jetzt an einem Debian vServer.

Ich habe folgende Probleme:

1. nachdem ich alle relevanten Programme (zb Python) installiert habe und das Python Script ausgeführt hatte, kam folgende Fehlermeldung:

InternalError: (1071, u'Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes')

Diesen Fehler hatte ich bei MySQLite nicht. Die MySQL Version ist auch aktuell...

Beides ist auf UTF8 eingestellt...

2. Nachdem ich den Server neugestartet hatte gab es keine Weiterleitung mehr zu der IP. Nun kann nichts mehr unter der IP im Browser angezeigt werden...

Was muss ich machen, damit alles wieder angezeigt wird?

3. In welches Verzeichnis muss ich meine Python Scipte installieren, damit diese im Browser angezeigt werden?

Sorry, ich bin hier echt n Anfänger...
